Erika Skaar Buff Elementary

Erika Skaar, shown here with her family, has been hired as the new principal for Buff Elementary.

The Jefferson County School District has hired Erika Skaar as the principal of Buff Elementary School. The previous principal, Billie White, will become the district’s director of curriculum and instruction.

Skaar is a graduate of Madras High and has served as an instructional coach at Buff Elementary for the past two years. Previously, she was a teacher at both Madras Elementary and Buff Elementary. She has also served as the school learning coordinator and member of the math planning committee.
