Monte Harrison is taking an unconventional path to gridiron glory. The 28-year-old former MLB player at Arkansas. He will enroll as a freshman walk-on.

Harrison was a two-sport start at Lee's Summit West High School and committed to play football at Nebraska in the summer of 2013, but was also a top prospect entering the 2014 MLB draft. The selected him in the second round as an outfielder, and he signed on June 14.
