EUGENE — In the first three track meets this season, the Culver boys 4x100-meter relay team didn’t just lose races: the team of senior Dustin Noy, freshman Keegan Haro, sophomore Kaydon Haro and senior Trent Reese, didn’t even finish races because it kept dropping the baton.

Two months later at the Class 2A state track and field championships at Hayward Field Friday afternoon, baton exchanges were flawless and the Bulldogs won the relay with a season-best 44.36 seconds.
